SeaJeys: jewelry that turns plastic from the sea into purpose
A SeaJeys was born in Menorca in 2019, inspired by a young man of just 15 who wanted to recover the local tradition of jewelry - but in a different way.
His goal was simple and powerful: to give new life to plastic collected from the sea, transforming it into something beautiful and meaningful.
What began as a craft project quickly became a brand with purpose, committed to protecting the oceans and valuing recycled materials.
From plastic to beauty
Each SeaJeys piece is made from recycled ocean plastic, collected from beaches and coastal areas.
At Merece, you'll find the iconic Wave Rings and the Bow, Fish and Wave bracelets, which symbolize this transformation.
More than accessories, they are unique pieces of jewelry that tell a story - the story of a material that has gone from being waste to something inspiring and lasting.
Design with a social impact
SeaJeys doesn't just focus on environmental impact.
Part of the production is carried out in partnership with Fundación Carlos Mir, an institution that supports people with disabilities, offering them training and inclusion opportunities through jewelry.
Thus, each piece is also a gesture of human empowerment and community collaboration.
A partnership that reflects shared values
